I started with the three-blade cartridge but soon changed to the four-blade because the three-blade felt like it was pulling the hairs out! OUCH! Still, with the four-blade cartridge I did not feel I was getting the shave I had hoped for, but when I graduated up to the five-blade, I was very happy.

I've tried all the razors. Gillette, harrys, defender, etc. I shave my head and my face. Patriot razors are the smoothest longest lasting and best quality construction of all of them.
