I am very disappointed. Maybe I just have high standards, but this was a terrible purchase in terms of quality for the price point. I saw the reviews online and was mislead by the reviews. First of all, packaging was terrible. I’m not asking for Japanese quality packaging but at least put some padding in the package itself. I usually keep the decorative box it comes in, but mine came in torn. Second, the journal wasn’t at all the quality it described. My pocket journals from amazon were better quality and cheaper. The design looks delicate that it could be scratched off easily. So I can’t just throw it in my travel art purse. It is not fountain pen friendly paper, nor watercolor friendly. There was another pocket journal that I wanted to purchase from them that was sold out. Luckily, I purchased only this one, I don’t think I’ll wait to purchase the other design. I will be purchasing elsewhere. What a waste of a beautiful design. The only silver lining is that it is a true pocket size.

I love the whimsy. I’m actively trying to keep whimsy in my life, and this delightful journal fits the bill.

Wonderful design a well made note book as usual. Hope to see this as part of the everyday series for christmas.
