Shibusa Brown Leather Single Prong Belt

Legendary S-tier Belt

Bought this to replace a pioneer cut 10mm single prong belt that has mysteriously disappeared... And oh boy I am not disappointed. High quality stitching, the leather isn't too hard, i did roll it up a few times this way and that and bounced on it with my heel, but not sure that much was required. The leather is high quality, the only gripe is the immediate stretch marks around the buckle area, but that was going to happen from the constant closing and opening anyway. Feels great when bracing, i feel very secure and can handle at least an extra 20kg; it leaves no marks, like the olympic belts always do for me. It's not stiff enough to the point of discomfort. So high effect on confidence all around. It felt usable from the get-go, as soon as i broke it in a little manually. The only gripe with the buckle/prong is that it sometimes feels like i am going to mess up some layers of the leather when i hastily buckle up, it could have been made more round, but it's not sharp or anything. Imma be honest, I got this one for the aesthetics... It does not disappoint. I love the low profile, classic, leather look. I'm probably gonna get the oly variation of the Shibusa belt as well sometime soon. Value for money is great, i mean, the belt it replaced was at least twice as expensive. Haven't tried it with deadlifts yet, only squats, but the performance exceeds expectations there. Highly recommended, high quality piece of gear, would definitely buy again.

Great quality belt

This is the second belt that I have bought from Gunsmiths, the first 4 years ago but taken by my daughter. The size guide was spot on and this new belt feels great, not stiff and easy to break in. Good quality leather and stitching, I would highly recommend.
