I purchased the black Darlaston, and it's excellent. It fits perfectly, I didn't need the ribbons so I cut them out as suggested. As far as steaming, for mine it absolutely would not be necessary. The hat came beautifully in a box, no creases or anything. Shipping was fast also, will definitely be a return customer.

My Darlaston arrived a couple of days ago. It was a little snug so I steamed it and it’s a perfect fit. I was concerned with it being too much flop but it’s perfect. I looked at review photos and some looked way floppier the others. I wear a 56.2 and the small has always fit me perfect with an occasional steam and stretch on a couple. I am totally satisfied with the Darlaston and it’s my favorite now, only because it’s 100 outside. Perfect summer hat hands down. I love it. If you have any concerns at all about sizing I would highly recommend contacting customer service, they gave me great advice. I love my peaky’s!
