Off The Grid Fly Line Repair Kit

Unfortunately my repair lasted for four casts. On the fifth cast my line split and went downstream. I understand that my repair may not have been the best but I followed the instructions, got the lines to overlap and hit it with the heat gun. Very disappointed.

The kit is really nice, however the battery heatgun that came with it didn't work after following the instruction manual, I emailed with the issue and never received a reply back, ended up purchasing another brand heatgun so I can use the kit

I liked the kit! I was not pleased with the amount of repair parts. I had a 7 wt SA line to repair it was cut. It took 2 attempts to make a solid repair.. And as you know there’s only one of each size.. Why? Surely you could do like 2 of each as truly it’s just electrician shrink tube.. dressed up.. Most anglers have no clue but, great idea just need to put a better price point on replacement parts.. possibly a replacement kit of 2 of everything at a fair price only available for previous kit purchases Rodney Bo
