Big strong ball with more length than most big balls
The Track Paragon Shadow has been one of the most dependable strong balls I’ve owned. For a ball that reads the lane early and handles volume well, it does an impressive job of getting down the lane without burning up or rolling out. What really stands out is how well it blends the pattern. On lower-friction house shots, this ball became one of my go-to options because it provided plenty of traction while still maintaining continuation through the pins. The motion is strong and smooth without being lazy, making it easy to trust when the lanes are tight or when carrydown starts to appear. This ball has also bailed me out more than once in tournament competition, especially on modified house shots where control is just as important as total hook. Whenever I needed something that would read the lane reliably and keep me out of trouble, the Paragon Shadow was usually the answer. If you’re looking for a strong asymmetrical ball that combines early read with surprisingly good downlane motion, the Paragon Shadow deserves a serious look. It has been one of the most reliable tournament pieces I’ve had in the bag.

Controlling hook and hits like a truck
Took me a few games to break in the cover. But once it was broken in it still has a lot hook when it hits friction and a lot of hold if missing left. In a word? misroom. Had two games in the 250s today on my second trip to the lanes for practice.
