The hojicha powder is so good 🤎 The rich dark chocolate aftertaste makes every sip extra comforting and smooth. If you’re taking a little break from matcha, hojicha is definitely the perfect choice. It has a warm roasted flavor that feels cozy, less grassy, and still gives that café-style treat at home.

This is my first time trying hojicha in a latte form. I did try hojicha cake and it was so good I usually but matcha from here and loved it in first time too. So I decided to buy my first hojicha from here too. This was the best hojicha I've had. I'm so glad I chose this. The price is also really good for 60g (it is a lot). I love Kyo Hayashiya

This is a good hojicha powder, but it was a little underwhelming after what I had seen in other reviews. The can I received was pretty light brown in color, whereas most of what I had seen other people get was a deep dark brown. Additionally the flavor was much lighter and less rich than I had hoped, though it is still good. Not sure if I got an anomaly can.
