I ordered this to pair with my A/O Sailor Ditty Bag that I retrofit with STERLING SearchLite 7.5mm rope in place of the stock natural straps. The SearchLite is a bit more harsh on shoulders when loaded vs the stock rope. This shoulder pad accessory/leather strap distributes the load more comfortably when the bag is worn slung. I usually avoid leather if possible, but with care, this should last a lifetime. Made in USA.
