I enjoyed the stories and loved the supper club ladies and their hunky love interests. I couldn’t wait to see who ended up with whom and how they got there. The reason for only three stars is that I had a hard time with the writing. Some sentences were unclear - I couldn’t tell which character spoke or did something. In others the sentence structure was awkward and didn’t make sense. I understand the purpose of varied sentence structure and artistic license, but in this case it came at the expense of clarity. Made me wonder if anyone actually edited the work.
