The C&H units have been a good value for several installations. My experience with Minisplitsforless is great. Pricing is unbelievable and they always send by freight to my rural address. Every other unit I've ordered (which is more than 40) that's come by any other regular carrier has been damaged. This company hasn't let me down. Units were delivered in perfect shape and worked flawlessly. I've got C&H units going on 10 years. For the cost, that's a better deal than bigger names at 3-8x the price.

The unit came well packaged and undamaged. I bought this to install on my wife's shed. The unit feels well built and once it ran for a day it figured out how it wanted to modulate. Its pretty quiet and heats very well even at 20 degrees. It looks and feels like the Carrier units I have installed. One thing I would change is to update the install instructions, some areas feel like they might have not been translated well, but specifically the section on system evacuation. There is no mention of a micron gauge. Industry standard is to evacuate to bellow 500 microns (lower the better), close gauges and verify it holds vacuum for 30-60 min, if it holds release the charge, if not check for leaks. The better the install, the longer the equipment will last. I have installed many many systems and they all have a great track record.

I'd like to start out by saying I rarely leave a review unless it's really bad or exceptionally good. There are times when I wish they had a 0 rating and times I wish they had a 6 for exception. I recieved the unit damaged during shipment and my first thought was " Here we go, another battle". That was on Saturday so monday morning I called customer service and got a hold of Jenny, explained what happened and she apologized for the damage and said if I could take some pictures she would have it reviewed. I sent the pictures off and within an hour or so I recieved a text stating they had deemed it damaged and she was forwarding a shipping label. True to her word she sent it right away with a note stating she already had by new shipping sticker with a tracing number and as soon as I took the damaged unit to FedEx and got that tracking number she would ship the new one. That afternoon I returned it, gave her the tracking number and she immediately shipped the new unit. I got it Wednesday, installed it and it was in good shape and works great. This kind of service is extremely rare in todays market. I can't tell you how impressed I am with the entire operation. Jenny was beyond efficient and extremely easy to work with. You can be sure this kind of training and leadership comes the top down. Great company and I highly recommend them. They deserve 6 stars.
