yup. the ruled one is mostly good
The product came well packaged but the plastic wrap was difficult to open. I appreciate that the product comes with a carton rather than stickers (or nothing). I don't like archival stickers because they fall off so this is better.
The paper is good. I appreciate that the pages are not perforated The binding can lay open but only almost flat. The binding is lay flat but has some trade off.
Since tall math symbols, like big sigma or the integral sign, span multiple consecutive lines, i would prefer this product in dot-grid... but the dot-grid format product lacks page numbers! I ordered the line ruled book.
Anyhow, the endsheets are put to good use. The front endsheet has space for cataloging information. The back pastedown has a reference of dimensions of the object, which was helpful while penciling down ruling. The back page of the back flyleaf (it's a nice flyleaf) has a ruled index. I prefer that the index not be in the main book or be entirely absent because the index is wasted on me as i set up my own index differently.

journal
I ordered the line journal,,, they sent me the dotted journal.. Does not lay quite as flat as I had hoped, BUT, it is a quality product for sure!
