Echo Micro Practice Rod

Hey, it shipped pretty fast. Put the little pole together. Played around my backyard for a while and got warmed up. Then I went out fishing.

The Echo micro practice rod is a good. . . . and fun. . . . learning tool. I'm new to fly casting and it has helped my timing. Tried it with two of my grandsons and found it to be a great learning tool. Trident handled the purchase flawlessly. The only downside is that Echo no longer makes the double haul kit, although they did tell me how to make my own. The only problem with that is finding the right type/weight of yarn. Maybe someone on Etsy can fill the gap. But kudos to Echo and Trident.
