Matyas Mini Commander Review

I like this flipper a lot, i love the recurve design and I love the 154 steel. The G10 grips are phenomenal, i know i wont drop it if my hands are wet. The Mini Commander is a great knife, but the locking mechanism prevents me from carrying it daily. I don't abuse this knife, i treat it like a normal flipper. he compression lock always 'caught' on something though, and it i find myself crushing my finger nails trying unlock it via the titanium bar. If i flip it very gently, it maybe easier to close but it's never guaranteed. However, after about a 2 months of carrying it, and 300+ flips later, it feels broken in. I like Emerson, would buy another knife from them.

I love my mini commander the little brother to my commander BT two great knives my BT I got in the 90’s it served me well on the job you can’t go wrong with Emerson they are the best for me.
