Very nice event can improve fan experience

I like idea of the league and marketing teams- venue was very good and exciting to follow games. As a fan we want to see the players and get autographs but very difficult for many of us…could reserve a space for autographs/lining up to make it easier

Enjoyed the experience need some shake up in the format

I really enjoyed the experience of watching the match and highlight was to have meet and greet with the players. I'd recommend two changes 1. Team names - right now team names are not catchy and does not resonate. 2. Play format - there should be an element of surprise, so people are not fixed on their boards. I'd recommend both teams submit their team sheets, like in Football, who is playing and on which board, so players are not preparing specifically for opponent. Rest it was a great experience, would have liked to meet Magnus but that couldn't happen :(

A memorable day

I went to Day 8, Wed 9th Oct. It was my first live chess event, and I felt very lucky to see so many of the best players in the world, playing each other. Also the commentary team (D Howell, J Houska, T Sachdev). From a spectator point of view, it was extremely good value. The matches were well organised and easy to follow. I didn't join the queues for autographs and selfies between and after the matches, but from what I saw it looked a little chaotic!
