I am 74 years old and had not done a paint by number since I tried to paint a horse with dismal results. My picture is about 80% done.
These kits are just lovely. While I’ll never be a true artist, I love the experience of painting. These kits are high quality. I have a few recommendations for others considering a purchase. If you haven’t painted for a while, consider purchasing the 24 color version. Practice your strokes on the 24 before jumping right into the more complex pictures. You might also find that dampening your brush will help the paint go on smoother. Also, if you can afford to buy the frames when you purchase your kit, it will be easier for you.
