Love Asheville as a candle, but as a perfume it’s not for me.

Let me start by saying that I love Maven Made/ Maven Theory as a brand, and that everything about every buying experience I have ever had with them has been phenomenal. I bought the Asheville perfume and candle gift bundle when they were running a hurricane relief fundraiser, without ever having smelled it in person. I am obsessed with the Richmond scent, and so I figured there was a pretty good chance I’d also love Asheville, and decided to roll the dice. As a candle, it’s divine. However something about the perfume with my body chemistry doesn’t sit right. That’s 100% a “me” problem and not an issue with Maven Theory, and I plan on regifting the perfume to my sister who I think will love it. I would definitely recommend visiting the new Maven Theory shop when it opens later this month to smell the whole locations line for yourself.
