Uptown Girl
Hi I'm a Professional Organizer and have used scout bags for a number of years. The Uptown Girl lends itself to the job since it is light weight, a good size, durable, and you can wipe them clean. The straps are a good length to carry at arms length or on the shoulder. However, I confess that I modify it for my own needs by adding interior dividers, and sew in zippers for the wide exterior pockets - so contents don't fall out when the bag gets tipped over, and I sew pen/marker holders inside on either end for quick access. As I do use it exclusively for work I sometimes struggle to find a pattern to suit. I do like the pattern of the new purchase although it is a bit bright and I can only get away with it for the summer months.
