My Intrepid Made Me Intrepid

I have been looking for the right RTT for a long time. I wanted something durable (hard-shell), light, easy to use, and able to take a beating. So when a friend recommended the new GEO 2.0, I did my research and ordered it right away. The team at Intrepid helped me figure out an appropriate mounting strategy for my Jeep, and even gave me some tools and ideas for a more solid connection to my roof rack. Before I had my Geo 2.0, I barely took my Jeep off-road, but something changed in me the day I mounted that tent. I felt like Emile Hirsch in "Into the Wild". I wanted to live in the mountains by a river and eat what I kill. I wanted to fight a pack of wolves over some moose meat. I almost left my family to start anew in the great outdoors. I think I even grew a couple inches taller that day... Anyway, since that fateful day, I have beaten the hell out of my Jeep while bouldering, squeezing through dirt corridors, driving through rivers, and damn near tipping it. My RTT is the most durable peace of gear I have! Once I reach my destination and my heart rate decreases, I thoroughly enjoy the easy automatic struts on my tent and the quick set up that allows me to crack a beer, and get my line in the water right away. I freakin love my tent! Also, I am old now and can't sleep on the ground or even an air mattress these days, so I love the foam mattress it comes with. And ditching sleeping bags for comforters and pillows is a game changer. Especially when all my bedding fits in the tent! So if you consider yourself a Leo Dicaprio, from the Revenant type of person and want to do the outdoors right, go with Intrepid. You won't regret it.

Seating perfection

Don’t want to get up and out of the tent, just want to sit and read in the shade or out the rain this is what you need. Great quality product and worth the purchase - well done team!
