ATS Thermal Bypass Valve Up-Grade for 2013-Current 6.7L Cummins

Easy straight forward install. Transmission temperature before installation 169 degrees during non towing and 132 degrees after installation non towing Quality product well engineered

Install went well. Line clips are tricky but ok once you figure them out. Had purchased a PPE bypass but the lines held in by the clips would not go in enough to have the clips set properly and had to return product. May have been a copy from China says PPE tech support. But hurray for ATS!! Took about a half hour to install. Very happy.

It was very easy to install. A transmission temperature is running at about 145°. When the outside temperature is showing 88 on the truck's gauge prior it was running about 171. Degrees, and it could be my imagination. But it seems to be shifting better. I really don't know what the reason would be for that. Unless it has changed the pressure, some how inside the transmission. But so far at this point, all is good. And if I don't have a thermostat in the bypass, then I don't have a thermostat to worry about failing. So that is kind of relief on the mind.
