Aquarium Spot Vacuum

This is what I needed for cleaning out the accumulated gunk at the bottom of some of my tanks. In my grow-out tank and snail tanks I have no substrate, so uneaten food and eaten food accumulate. This would be a 5 star review, but the way this vacuum is designed, it stirs up the detritus as it vacuums. After a pass along the bottom of the aquarium, I can no longer see what I'm vacuuming, so I have to let everything settle back. Becomes a more tedious process. I wanted to use this as regular vacuuming posed a harm to baby fish in the grow out tank. I'm not sure this solves that problem since it takes much longer, and I can't see with the water stirred up.

Works like a charm. I have a 52 gallon corner tank, and the reach to the back corner is beyond my reach when cleaning the tank. I purchased an 8" and a 16" clear tube that I put on the end of the filter and I can now reach the back corner of the tank without going in up to my shoulder. Worth every penny!! The switch comes in handy trying to avoid sucking up the pleco fry in my tank. I highly recommend this Spot Vacuum!

This little vac is awesome!!! It does a great job and easy to use and clean it out. The first time I used it I said “wow wow wow”. Makes my job much easier. Thank you!!!
