Albany Black Spruce - Hand Soap

I was a loyal customer for six years. Then I made this order and I’ll never shop with them again. Long story, short: I bought three refill bags of this hand soap. After using it for six years as the only hand soap in my house, I have a very good sense of what the product is and what it should be like however, the bags in this order were a completely different consistency (watery, unusable). When I reached out to customer service, I was told this was a known issue, but they did not offer to refund or make me whole. Instead, they said just shake the bag and it’ll get thicker, but it’ll still be much runnier thsn youre used to. They also acknowledged that they know this was a defect, but that they were still selling it. Despicable. In fact, the person who responded with this acknowledgment was the owner themselves. And warned me against writing this review because and I paraphrase “we recently sold our retail store” and a bad review will only hurt the new owners, not me.” Buyer Beware.
