CoffMeter A1 - Roast Color Meter

I've been using the CoffMeter A1 as a tool for roast research, and it's a useful addition to the workflow. It makes it easier to move beyond visual judgment and record roast color consistently, both for whole beans and ground coffee. What I particularly appreciate is the ability to compare different roast profiles and endpoints with actual measurements. When you're experimenting with airflow, development time and roast curves, having a consistent reference makes it easier to document results and understand what changes from one batch to another. It's compact, straightforward to use and well suited to small-scale roasting and quality control. Of course, roast color doesn't tell you everything about a coffee's development or how it will taste in the cup, but as part of a broader research process, it's a valuable tool. Overall, a practical instrument for anyone who takes a systematic approach to roasting and wants to make their results more measurable and repeatable.
