Overall I really like Lonely Planet Guides. I tried the PDF book, but just enjoy the real book much more.

Handy guide to Spain
Everything I expected and more. Such a lot of useful detail. I also like the fold out planning map, bit old fashioned but very useful and can carry with you as backup.

Visited Cuenca because of your advice
I was searching for a less-crowded while still amusing place for a family visit in the middle of Summer in Spain. I looked at the map, found this town and then checked your guide for the information. It was a 100% hit! Thanks for pointing at this pearl. I continue to llok for othe places like this. It was really refreshing experience in comparison to crowded 'main' spanish destinations.
