Perfect for me
Perfect pack for long day or overnight hunts/trips. Super comfortable loaded for hours at a time. Expands to haul meat loads well. I also use it to pack in sacks of feed when deer hunting with my kids.

Indestructible Backcountry Pack
The construction is bomb proof and thought out. Well made, and clearly built for tough use. Pack rides well with and without weight, a lot more comfortable than other packs I've used in the past.

More than I expected
I’ll start by saying that I’ve used Eberlestock packs for years and the one thing I didn’t like about them was the belt system. That issue has been solved.
I’ve owned or own several different packs, EXO and Mystery Ranch being the latest, none of them were what I was looking for. I have a F1 Mainframe and it’s a good pack, but it’s got that old belt system.
Disclaimer, I haven’t hunted with the Brute 3500, just loaded it and rucked around the property. It is definitely about a pound heavier than my Metcalf 50, but it’s bigger and doesn’t squeak. The material is definitely quieter than most, the straps and buckles are more robust and that’s a good thing.
I thought the lack of a bottle pouch on both sides would be an issue, but hasn’t proven to be.
I like the layout of the inside of the pocket and the detachable lid. The lack of a roll top might be a problem for some, but do you really need to carry all that stuff around for a day hunt?
Overall, I think this is going to be a great pack that will serve me for the remainder of my hunting days.
