Exactly what I was looking for. Just enough space for my gear and not so big that I would overload myself. Still waiting for the hip belt.

light weight
I used my new Brute on a short hike in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife refuge. I understand some small adjustment features might help just a bit, but I think the number one thing here is a day pack with plenty of storage yet SUPER light in weight

Brute Scout
Loving this pack. Smaller than my switchblade for daily use, but get the job done for sure. The pack is more rigid due to the integrated frame so the pack doesn’t flop over. Thank you to the gentleman that helped me when I bought this in store. I was in town from Texas and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Will be buying another pack shortly based on his recommendation.
