Hydei Fruit Fly Culture

I like that they arrived with flies still alive in it. But that's where my compliments stop. It wasn't clear anywhere that I read if it was a producing culture or freshly started culture. They were freshly started they had about half of the media and substrate in the containers compared to how much I use in my own cultures. So now I have to wait about 3 weeks until I have flies to feed my tree frogs which is ridiculous and is not going to do me any bit of good right now. I will not be ordering from this company again that's for sure. Way to rip people off by giving the minimum amount of product in your cultures I bought two of them and honestly I'm going to probably combine them into one so I paid about $26 for less than 100 flies that is not a good deal.

Healthy culture. Slightly jostled in shipping—dented cup and shifted medium, but plenty of flies survived shipping.

They delivered fast came alive and have already started 2 other cultures with it. My manits also loved them
