Caught two 25-inch channel catfish with them the first weekend in use. We have hard clay dirt around the top of the reservoir where I fish. Had to use a small sledgehammer to get them in the ground. When done fishing they come out quite easy. Love the holders over PVC pipe. When it was windy I could set the fishing poles closer to the ground and the fishing line stayed tight better with less wind movement. Loved the bundle price for the rod holders.

I have seen these rod holders before and I finally purchased some. First catch on a small pole was a 42” big ugly, rod holder didn’t even budge lol can’t wait to catch a 6-7 footer gar, but I did purchase more different ones, can’t wait for this weekend again 🤘🏽
