Thera® 10-Pound Weighted Hoodie

I was honestly surprised by how heavy and thick it is! It’s exactly like wearing my weighted blanket wrapped around me! Of course, this does make it quite warm, and I do have to be careful when I wear it so I don’t strain my neck/shoulders. The cotton/t-shirt type material its made from seems like it might pill up fairly quickly, but I vastly prefer it to the faux fur or sherpa-style stuff a lot of other jackets and blankets seem to be made of these days. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this to my friends who are looking for a weighted jacket if they have the budget for it

I love how cozy it is. The weight is good for lounging, but maybe not so much for an active day. It makes me hot, sometimes. The weight on the shoulders hurts my joints a little bit too as someone with chronic pain. But I love lying on the couch with it and it is very comforting when I’m feeling sad or scared, which was the point of ordering it. I just wish I could wear it to medical appointments and work.
