1623 Sketchbook

Best sketchbook I’ve had so far. It is premium but it’s not a gimmick. It’s now going to become a part of my artist practice. The book feels well made, and the paper doesn’t bleed through to the other side as much as in other premium sketchbooks I’ve used. The cover seems hard wearing as well, which is good for a studio environment. Overall I’ve really enjoyed drawing and sketching in this sketchbook. I am able to use all sorts of media interchangeably as well, which has been great. I will be buying more after I have filled all the pages on my current sketchbook!

absolutely perfect sketchbooks. I couldn’t be happier with them. i’ve literally gone through thousands of sketchbooks in my long career as an artist, and these are some of my very favourite books ive drawn in. i typically use brush pens, colored pencil, watercolor and charcoal. sometimes a little bit of paint in a sketchbook. so far the paper is serving me really well. the slightly warm-toned paper made from the biproduct of sugarcane processing, is a nice natural, slightly off-white which i appreciate. the books are durable, handsome as hell, and made with attention to detail. they lay nicely flat while im working, and they are a joy to flip through.
