Blade, it was what our internal project name was for this light due to it's unique light looking design. We are terrible at names, so we stuck with it. Designed to look and perform like an automotive tail light, rather than just another cheap plastic blinking light.
Incredible amber side visibility designed to make you visible when it m

one BRIGHT tail light!
I bought my Blade after a group ride ended way later than planned. I have a big reflector, but wanted something that’d attract attention before headlights hit my back. I use the flash pattern for the strobe effect and the Blade flash is BRIGHT! I can see the flash in my peripheral view, so I know I’m getting side light as well. Mount fit the seat post perfectly. The light attachment is easy to twist on/twist off so I don’t worry about it getting stolen. Does everything I hoped.

Impressive Light
This is safety equipment and it’s objectively better than any rear light I’ve owned or seen from any other company. Worth every penny.

Great side visibility and overall for all riding
I have a few tail lights and most of these fall into the narrow focus of the beam being directed to the rear but little fall off to the sides. For the safety on the road, I recently switched to the Garmin Varia, radar giving me updates when a car approaches, but the side lighting was little and eventually looked for another light.
I have been using Outbound lights on my bikes for the last few years and when this tail light was released, I was very intersted in the design being a focus on the side visibility. From opening the box to the install, it's a very quality experience, the light feels solid and the clear plastic lens has some thickness (haven't tested this yet). Charging was quick, the modes work well, I might wanted to see a mode 1 that added flashing for night riding like the day time mode, but including the bottom lighting. Speaking of lighting, this light has the beam that is flowing from the rear and sides, but for all of the modes except one, also a lower red light. Allows for the rider to be more seen as the bike is illuminated.
I only took the llight on a few rides so far but it's very bright and thanks to keeping with the Garmin mount, easily swaped out with my current light mounts. The only downside I would say is the weight for some riders, I don't mind it but it is heavy compared to my other tail lights. But the trade off is using a generic battery vs something you can't find. Another issue is with the large lens window how does that last with drops, scratches, it should be ok but it's much larger than I've seen on other lights. I would recomment this for riding at night and all around users.
