Upper Radiator Hose Skin Kit - Dragon Skin

I tried & tried to get these Dragon hose candy, it’d start out but after a few inches, would not budge any further. I watched 5-6 videos and placed wide posts down the hose candy to stretch them out and on one, I left the post inside for several days… It still didn’t go on more than a few inches… the end started to fray I pulled so hard… I called twice and spoke to a lady who said someone would call me back to help! NOTHING, NO ONE EVER CALLED!! You took me for $103!!! I have them hanging in my garage to remind me of getting ripped off!

Well, after spending $103.49 on 2ea. (Upper and Lower radiator Silver Dragon Skins BOTH OF WHICH ARE BRAND NEW HOSES from Gates), I've come to the realization that I just lost that $103.49 After reading Hose Candy's online recommendations and watching dozens of YouTube videos pertaining to the Hose Candy Dragon skins, I give up!!! No matter what I did, even stretching the entire upper radiator hose numerous times, the dragon skins FAILED each attempt to get any further than about 10"-12" on my existing NEW GATES upper radiator hose. I've installed numerous upgrades and cosmetic add-ons to my 67 GTO and this is the only one that has failed and I've given up on this. Wish it turned out better and I could go to auto shows with the hose skins under the hood, but that is not going to happen......I'm out the $103.49 and completely frustrated with this entire process!!!!
