TURBO TAIL 2.0

I really wish these toys were motion activated instead of having to turn on a power button so that 1. my cat can play with it during the day when he's bored when I'm at work 2. I don't have to get up every 5 minutes to turn it back on for him and 3. If it turns itself off under a piece of furniture or under a curtain, they disappear into the abyss, never to be found again. I can't power it back on from the remote to get it to reveal itself. Design it like the robot vacuum cleaners where it returns to a docking station for charging and that a cat can be trained to activate it by himself when he wants to play, rather than me turning it on when he might not feel like stalking. Other than that, these are his favorite toys and the only ones he'll interact with. I like having the remote so I can help it get unstuck without having to keep getting up. Please keep in mind that these toys are for the cat, not me. I don't want to have to be involved in his stalking.

The Teazy turbo tail 2.0 doesn’t do well on thick carpets but the cats love it. I bought them to keep them preoccupied when we go on vacation and so far we think they will work. We have a cat sitter that will charge them when needed but love the fact that they go to sleep and only wake up when nudged. We also have the speedyball version and that one is better for thicker carpets, but cat hair does collect in the wheels from the carpet and when it finds a spot to go to sleep it takes forever to find it. We lost it for about a week. If it had a remote that could help you find it would be handy improvement. I would like to buy the cat fountain, but it’s the cost of filters that prevents me purchasing. I can clean and fill a bowl daily for free but filters could really add up.

It doesn't steer very well and pulls to the right really badly. The control settings are a little weird. My cat is completely uninterested, but that could happen with any toy.
