CBC please keep this in stock. It is hands down the best bean I have ever roasted. Every single person in my family who uses cream and sugar drinks it black. I can do a medium, medium-dark, dark roast it doesn't matter. Pour over or Espresso? Doesn't matter. It ALWAYS delivers. I've been home roasting for 1.5 years and each month I go full ADHD and get a bunch of 1lb bags of beans from all over the world. Its fun, but once I tried this my orders have changed drastically. I get 80% Malabar and one fun African bean. That's it. My latest blend is 70% Malabar / 20% Ethiopian Sidamo Natural / 10% India Cherry Robusta. Roasted just into 2nd crack. Rested for a week. KILLER ESPRESSO. My wife literally utters pleasure noises when I hand her her morning cup (TMI but it's real). Cheers!

Absolutely Fantastic for Espresso

This has quickly become one of my favorite coffees to roast. The AA India Monsooned Malabar produces an incredibly smooth, rich cup with very low acidity and a heavy, satisfying body. Roasted into the Full City/Full City+ range, I get deep chocolatey, earthy flavors that work beautifully for espresso and Americanos. It's also surprisingly forgiving to roast once you get a feel for it. I've had excellent results developing it just beyond first crack and giving it a little extra time to bring out the body and sweetness without pushing it too dark. If you prefer bright, fruity, high-acidity coffees, this probably isn't your bean. But if you like smooth, bold, chocolate-forward espresso with very little acidity, this stuff is outstanding. I've already gone through enough of it that I started buying it in bulk.

Easily becoming my absolute favorite bean to roast. The flavor profile is lovely enought to stand on its own or carry a blend.
