The Anatomical Heart Lamp Gold Edition

I bought this to make a matching pair of black and gold anatomical heart lamps to flank my bed. I’ve also paired it with the Urszula lampshade and a red lightbulb. Hopefully my photos demonstrate how beautiful they are. The Inamorata lamp is now in the corner of the bedroom. 🖤

Gorgeous lamp, beautiful quality

I'm delighted with this beautiful lamp, which looks exactly as pictured. It arrived far more quickly than I expected, too! I chose a plain copper-lined shade to accompany it, as I thought this illumination may play nicely against the gold. Also, tassels and cats aren't a great mix, and the cats frequently get on to the bedside cabinet that this lamp now resides upon! The heart is perfectly sculpted, undoubtedly the most beautiful organ in the human body faithfully replicated here. The gold finish is muted and very effective, making this piece a sombre but powerfully hopeful statement. I had a minor issue with It not working at first; It proved to be peculiarly tricky to find a suitable bulb, as only two out of the five I tried worked, so the electrics are a magic mystery (all these bulbs were within the stated parameters, including two identical ones, one of which worked, but the brand new identical counterpart I initially tried didn't - yet did work in a different lamp!!). However, a suitable Edison-style bulb is now in place and the effect of the copper reflection across the walls is like a Transylvanian sunset. Absolutely glorious! Many thanks to all the artisans for creating these beautiful pieces. I am very impressed with the quality and service, and will certainly make further purchases in future!
