Description
Off Season debuted in 2024 at Toqueur Gallery in Amsterdam, but it had been sitting with me for over a decade. The image traces back to the winter of 2009 to 2010, after we moved to Venice Beach and the rain came in and stayed. Weeks of it....

This art piece is incredible. I’m in love with the stunning transition of colors, the depth, the richness. I find most of Kalle Hallzén’s pieces are incredible, having said that, they are a bit too melancholy for me to look at them all of the time. Especially the slouched postures ones. I still think they are amazing. The Off Season still feels hopeful and the colors are everything. I truly love it!
When I received it I sat here looking at it with tears in my eyes. It brought me so much joy. What an incredible artist.
