I bloody love it!!!!

Being honest, when this landed I was a bit underwhelmed. I wasn't expecting a lot for the price, but it just seemed almost too simple. Since fitting it to the camera I've rarely had to give it a thought. I have the one with built in grip and it's perfect. It give the camera just the right amount of protection, especially for the base which is the area that gets most contact with surfaces. I've just been out shooting for the day and was looking at the images when I realised that I couldn't even remember where I got the case from, so I went through my emails so I could go and leave a well deserved review. If you're undecided about getting one of these because it seems too cheap for your fancy leica, just buy it. It's perfect for the job and you won't regret it.

I searched for a grip for my Leica because my grip did not feel secure. After trying the $450 leather version I found the Akara version. It is perfect! It does not shriek Leica and invite camera snatchers, it fits my hand perfectly, including rounded edges, and it pops off to remove the SD card and change the battery.

Great grip and protection

The handle is great; it gives the Q3 a comfortable grip. It also provides excellent protection for the camera's base. As for Akara, their service is fantastic. I had a small issue with the delivery, but Henley took care of it. They're very professional, and I highly recommend Akara's products and services!
