Immediately purchase the Red Label
I have one of Yue Chao’s Frostfall gaiwans and love it so much that as soon as I read the newsletter about seconds of the Dragon’s Breath being on sale, I purchased without hesitation.
Cosmetic flaws are subjective. The only thing I could think of being second quality is that the cup is 99% the burnt orange color. Which I happen to enjoy—the shiny side looks like copper! (The lid has the gray blue mottling so overall it still has that rustic woodfired colorway.)

Next level Gaiwan
I have a lot of handcrafted tea ware but never invested in a gaiwan since even industrial made ones are rarely bad and normally just functional.
Then i saw this dragon's breath beauty and i wanted to try the extra money on a gaiwan.

I never had such a perfeclty balanced and beautiful gaiwan. It's pure joy to use it.
The taoteaware checkout and shipment was perfect for someone ordering from germany, no need unfilled. I will definitely buy here again if i find a slot for another piece of art.
So is handmade worth it, DEFINITELY!
Thx taoteaweare for my new sweetheart.
