AMSEC NF5924E1 Rifle & Gun Safe with ESL10 Electronic Lock

The safe itself is good, but delivery should have somehow involved at least an option to have it installed in my house. I paid $75 to have it delivered to my garage, and then it was on me to move 600 pounds to my basement. There needs to be a better set of options.

Initial Impressions

Just installed the NF5924E5 in a closet so this is a first impression review. Great experience with ordering/ delivery and the S&V team was very helpful and responsive. Just one quibble that worked out but was unexpected. In addition to taking into account the 3 inches for the handle on the depth, you also need to accommodate 2.5 inches for the power cord which protrudes straight out from the back. An angled connector or side entry would be an improvement..

Great Quality Safe

Safe was delivered on time. Although the FedEx delivery was less than great: Driver came without an adequate palette-jack, packaging was damaged on the outside and a few scratches were revealed on the safe itself - Safe and Vault made things right by refunding the garage-delivery fee and sending some touch-up paint. The safe quality is very good and customer support was also good.
