Barefoot shoe family over here and so glad I found these for our littlest who's 1.5. She's in the middle size with a good amount of room to grow. She's a chunker and there's plenty of space in the calf which I was worried about so great work team! Love an ingenious family made product =)

Comfortable and Secure Fit for Toddler's Hypermobile Ankles and Wide + Long Feet

I was so pleased to discover the Grubbybub Gumbooties—I’ve struggled to find gumboots that fit due to her very hypermobile ankles and combination of wide feet (courtesy of her dad) and long feet (from me). She’s quite tall and slender, and I love that the velcro cuffs let me achieve a secure fit. Her feet stay dry, and she clearly finds them comfortable because she insists on wearing them even when it’s not raining! They’ve already had a good workout in the garden and jumping in puddles. I'll be ordering a second pair so we can always keep one in rotation. We’ve only had them for a few weeks, so I can’t comment on long-term durability yet, but they appear to be well made. Even though she’s only twenty-six months old, we had to order the XL size and sadly there's not much room left to grow. I’m hopeful they’ll see us through the remainder of the year (I see trips to the beach in their future!). I’d really love to see these available in larger sizes. One tiny aesthetic note: I wish the logo was on the rear instead of the front, so it’s not as prominent in photos.
