VW Transporter T5.1/T6 2010-2020 Wireless Apple CarPlay Upgrade Kit

Really pleased with our purchase from Car Screen City to replace our stereo in our VW T5.1. The support from the team before and after purchase was really professional. I was nervous at first as I’ve never fitted a new unit like this, however the fitting video supplied and the multitude of you tube support videos really helped. The fitting process took about 1.5 hours. The trickiest thing was feeding the SIM card holder into the van’s glove box. I ended up removing the glove box which gave me extra space . The unit comes with 2 usb data cables. I did not really want them hanging loose or hiding in the glove box. I decided to buy two new dash blanks with usb ports this has made the whole finish look super professional. The stereo DIN wiring harness was super quality and everything fitted nicely. I took advantage of the supplied arial booster and wired it in, as described on the YouTube tutorial. This has made the radio reception much better. All in all, a very satisfying purchase, giving us all the functionality we need whilst keeping a sleek polished finish in our cab . A top company backing up their products with great support.

Had a bit of trouble connecting CarPlay but after contacting customer services they sent through instructions. Love the stereo clear and easy to use
