This is the best item in my wardrobe - I'm so glad I took the plunge and placed an order. I found the company whilst searching online for ethical brands - and River Goddess kept popping up as company with high ethical standards, as well as high quality clothing. I'm Autistic and I live in a very humid climate - so I'm very picky with materials & textures. This dress is perfect in this regard - it is beautifully lined, and so comfy to wear, even in muggy weather. The cotton is soft and cool. The fit and pattern are also really flattering - I feel so pretty in this dress. I'm a UK 14 -16 & my measurements fluctuate a bit. Whilst this is something many people experience I find a lot of clothing isn't accommodating to this. On average I have a 41" bust and a 34" waist; the XL size fits really well, even when I'm bloated. The design is really well thought out so I've remained comfy. It washes really well too - I put it on at 20'C with my delicates, and hang it on the line to dry. I was a little anxious about ordering, as I live in Europe and was worried about postage - but the dress was packaged well & all the customs details were correct, so I had no issues. This gives me a lot of confidence for my next order :)

the print is gorgeous and the dress fits nicely (size M, 5’4” and 135 lb for reference). I am not crazy about the length and may get it hemmed - it hits mid calf just like on the model, not the most flattering length IMO. but very pretty even so. I love the lightweight material too.
