I purchased the first book of novenas years ago when my parish at the time St Francis of Assisi in NYC had a book store , after closing I went to a catholic bookstore to get the books to give as gifts, the store did not have the books stocked and ordered them for me and mailed to me in KY where I had relocated. I continue to order the novena books to use as gifts to friends and relatives that are happy to receive . My nephew saw his mothers book when he was in , when I found that he was looking for the book at Barnes & Noble I ordered books and gave him one which he was very happy to receive and graduated last year. I make sure to keep a few books on hand to give as gifts.
