I am incredibly happy with this personalized Bible. The website provided incredibly clear direction during the ordering process, and the final product is second to none in terms of quality. Hail, Full of Grace!

I bought this for a young man I am sponsoring for his Confirmation. When I read reviews, not necessarily for this exact bible but the New Catholic Bible translation, a reviewer said that it had the "Hail Full of Grace" translation in Luke 1. The preceding New American Bible had the "Favored One" translation. Last minute, I ordered a paperback version of the New Catholic Bible for myself- and was relieved to see this did have the "Full of Grace" translation. It's hard enough for an adult to understand the difficulties of translation, let alone an eighth grade Catholic kid who may wonder why the prayer and bible translation don't match up. Many people think it is no big deal, but I think this could be a hurdle for some- not just kids. Besides, my guardian angel tells me that they all called our Blessed Mother Full of Grace long before they knew her earthly name was Mary! So there!

Not what I thought.

I was trying to copy the bible his older brother had. ..the New Catholic Bible St. Joseph Edition given to him by his confirmation teacher. The Confirmation Edition was a big longer reading bible.
