From Panic to a Plan — Thanks to Curly Chemistry

This review is way overdue. I was so excited when I saw Tonya was offering 1:1 sessions! I missed the chance to meet her at a hair care brunch in Los Angeles last year and I was so disappointed. So this Zoom call? This was my redemption moment. Tonya is incredibly knowledgeable. I came to her after experiencing some pretty serious scalp trauma months before that led to irritation, inflammation, bleeding and sudden hair loss just within 7 days. She allowed me to share photos of my scalp, and from there she gave me thoughtful feedback including suggestions I hadn’t even considered, that could help identify underlying issues. On top of that, she created a customized regimen plan tailored specifically to my hair’s needs. She walked me through different products I could use and gave me a clear routine to follow for the best results. I love that I now have something I can always go back to whenever I fall off track (consistency isn’t my strong suit, lol). What I appreciate most is how Tonya uses her platform to help our community truly understand and take care of our natural hair. Her recommendations and guidance have been so helpful, and I can’t thank her enough for sharing her time, knowledge, and support. <3
