Excellent upgrade from starter poi

I've been fire spinning for just under a year and these are a significant step up from my basic 50mm chain poi. The technora cords mean they handle much more like my practice poi, making tricks smoother and easier to perform. The short chain section between head and rope is perfectly judged—long enough to keep fuel off the rope during dipping, but short enough not to affect the weight distribution or feel. The larger wicks provide impressively bright flames with a satisfying roar, and the burn time is excellent. The glow-in-the-dark handles are a nice touch, especially as I prefer gripping them directly rather than using finger loops. Absolutely worth the upgrade once you're committed to fire spinning.
