Very healthy and active upon arrival, very minimal dead in the box. I also liked the decent size range they come in, since they live a long time and they aren't a staple feeder for my animals. I like that I can feed the large ones and don't have to worry about all of them pupating around the same time since there are some smaller ones in there that will keep on growing.
