Goldsboro Fellowship

I am enjoying this book far more than I thought I would. The premise of the story seemed like that of many, many other fantasy books and this is the debut novel for this author. But, I like it. It has elements and characters that remind me very much of Joe Abercrombie's books. I suspect that Mr. Mosse is an Abercrombie fan. Thom is a more refined Logan Ninefingers. Fenne reminds me of the female character in Sharp Ends. Luck Lamourney also has that air of a disenchanted, disenfranchised warrior and Eli Gregorian shows promise of being an Inquisitor Glotka. However, I don't hold these similarities against The Mistral as they may only be in my imagination and any imagined likenesses only add to my enjoyment of the book.

Stunning edition. Joined the Fellowship to ensure this book would be in my treasure hoard. Love it!!!
