power + freedom!

The bike is so much more powerful and smooth than expected. The freedom of not having to find parking for a car and experiencing the fresh air while zipping around town with ease is epic! It makes running back to the grocery store for one last item so much fun!

New Kodiak

I'm really enjoying my new Kodiak, but with less than 100km on it so far it's too soon to give it a proper review. I like how easily it manages hills and I like how easy it is to sustain an average speed of over 20 kph on it. That will make getting to and from the grocery store very doable. The trip meter seems to read high, perhaps because my bike has the smaller of the two tire options - not sure about that, and the centre stand hangs too low. It looks as if it should flip up parallel to the ground but in fact it doesn't, so can catch on door sills. I've fitted a side stand and will look into removing the centre stand altogether. Jason at VoltBike has been very helpful throughout the ordering and shipping process, and the VoltBike website is a mine of useful information once you learn your way around it. 5/5 for customer service. Day and Ross, the carrier, delivered the bike across Canada quicker than I thought possible, and the pick up from their depot in Dartmouth was seamless. I am enjoying learning the bike and looking forward to putting many more km on it. Rob.
