Best spike I have ever used

I have been round and round with sand spikes. Tried tubes, cheap, expensive, plastic,… all kinds. The Deerfield open 2.0 is the GOAT. The open top design is secure, and fast when snatching up long handle surf rods. The rods don’t get hung up trying to remove them from a tube. The spike itself is beefy and strong. The foot post and angle of the tip make sinking it into the hard shell filled Texas sand a breeze. Have 2 now, ordering 2 more and will be getting a few of the HD shark spikes too. TLDR: Best spike on the market. Get it, you will not be disappointed!!
