Transit Surf Pole

Worth the wait

Glad FVC finally came out with the surf pole for the Transit. It has been a great addition to my van. Install was relatively easy. The only thing in question was where to put it. After bringing out a couple surf boards, I decided to install it 3’ away from the ladder and it worked out great. The top mount that goes to the rack did attach a little crooked (compared to the lines on the low pro rack) even though it was level and even with the ladder. An easy tip for installing the top and making sure it’s nice and straight is to use a clamp so you can measure and adjust(picture attached).

Worth the wait! Makes transporting boards so easy!!

Being a transit owner (not Sprinter), I was patiently waiting for these surf poles/surf hooks. And now that I have them, I can firmly say it was worth the wait! They make loading/transporting my SUP and surf boards extremely easy. So stoked!
